A few days pasted with no changes to Wrangler’s condition, Morning Star stay by her side as much as she could. Not being able to help Wrangler was starting to confuse her.

Kara came into the room “I should have known you would be in here.”
Morning Star smiled weakly at her.
“What’s wrong Princess?”
Morning Star sighed “I should be able to help her with my powers but something is stopping me.”
“Do you know what it is?” Kara asked
“Unfortunately no. If I could figure it out I could help her.”
“Princess your truly feel for her don’t you?”
“Yes, I feel a connection to her.”
Kara smiled “I’m glad you’ve found her then.” she turned to leave.
“Kara?” Morning Star called out to her
“Yes Princess?”
“Thank you again for saving her.”
“Your welcome Princess” she bowed her head and left Morning Star with Wrangler.
Morning Star leaned closer to Wrangler and whispered “I promise to help you, just have faith in me.”

Later that day Rainsong came in to check on them.
“Morning Star why don’t you go rest? If anything changes I will let you know.”
“It’s okay mom, I want to be here if she wakes up.”
Rainsong smiled and looked around the room it was quite dark and dreary. She seen a maid walking by and she called out to her.
“Excuse me miss.”
The maid came into the room “Yes your highness?”

Can you open the curtains in here and brighten this room up? Maybe a window or the balcony doors. It seems so dreary in here.”

“Right away ma’am.” she bowed and got to work opening the curtains.
“Morning Star come with me.” Rainsong instructed her.
“But Mother.”
Rainsong waved a hoof “No buts just come along.”
“Mother where are we going? Morning Star asked as she followed her mother.
“To the garden.”
“Um why?”
“To get flowers for Wranglers room” smiled Rainsong.
Morning Star gasped “Oh mom you think of everything.”
Once they reached the garden they found the gardeners working away.
“Good afternoon your majesties. Can I help you with anything today?”
“Yes we would like some flowers brought up to a room.” Rainsong replied.
“Wonderful. Just let me know what you would like and I will have the arranged for you.” she smiled.

Rainsong and Morning Star started walking around the garden with the gardener picking out flowers. They choose all different kinds of flowers in a variety of colors.

“Excellent choices, I will have them brought up shortly” she bowed and called to the other gardeners.
“Thank you” Rainsong and Morning Star said in unison.
“Oh mother this will be a great surprise for Wrangler, she really loves our garden.”

Rainsong smiled at her daughter she was glad to see her spirits lift. She was about to say something with Eclipse appeared in front of them.

“Queen Rainsong, Princess, Oracle and Flameblade have arrived. They are waiting for you up in the room.”
“Thank you Eclipse. We were just heading back up.” Rainsong replied.
Morning Star got a sinking feeling in her stomach. “I hope Oracle can help her.”
“Don’t worry dear, we’ll stop at nothing to save her.”
They winked up into Wrangler’s room, everyone was there waiting for them.
“It’s good to see you again, Oracle.” Rainsong smiled.
“Thank you your highness but I wish it was under better circumstances.”
“Can you help her?” asked Morning Star.
“I don’t know Princess but I am going to try my best.”
“You have our full cooperation” Silverwind told her. “If you need anything just let us know.”
“Thank you, majesty. Can someone tell me exactly what has happened since the gypsy’s left?”

They all turned to Morning Star and she lowered her head. She told them of everything they had done together. When she finished a tear was sliding down her check.

“It’s just as I thought” Oracle sighed. “Wrangler will need our help coming back to us but she will be fine.”
“Do you want to elaborate?” Silverwind asked “Not many ponies just faint in midair.”
“I know Wrangler told you of the gypsy legend, I believe it is time I told the whole legend so you will all understand. Is there somewhere we can talk?”
“Yes. The Royal Private Headquarters.” Silverwind answered.
“Let’s go then. Oh I need a book from my wagon.”
“I’ll go get it and meet you in the room.” Flameblade volunteered.
“It’s on the table next to my crystal ball, thank you.”

They all headed downstairs to the Royal Private Headquarters, once inside they waited for Flameblade to join them. He arrived shortly after they had settled in to chairs with a large book in his hooves.

“This thing is heavy” Flameblade said with strained breath.
“Yes it is a very old book so be careful. I came across it in my travels in a small village. Can you sit it here?” she pointed to the table in the middle of the room.

Flameblade placed the book on the table and they all gathered around it. Oracle opened the book to a marked page, on it was a picture of a white pegasus with a green dragon behind her in a lighting storm..

“I’ve never seen this book before” Eclipse stated “and I have read quite a few.”
“From what I was told by the seller that Moonraiser had all the copies destroyed but the seller of this one kept this hidden from him.”
“I wonder why he did that?” Silverwind mumbled out load.
“I can only assume because of the legends in here, your highness.”
“What do you mean?” Rainsong asked with curiosity.
“I have no idea who wrote this book but there are many legends in it. One is very similar to the battle between Moonraiser and yourself King Silverwind.” she turned to Morning Star “Also there’s this one.” Flipping the pages she came to a picture of a winged unicorn and a phoenix.
Morning Star gasped “It’s Kaena and myself, look how accurate it is.”
“I want this book studied by the experts!” Silverwind demanded.
Rainsong spoke up “My dear perhaps first we should find out what it says about Wrangler.”
Silverwind cleared his throat “Yes we should, Oracle please continue.”

“Well I wont read it to you but in what I have gather Wrangler is this pony” she flipped back to the first picture and pointed to it. “ and if my visions are right she is connected to something powerful, my guess this dragon.”

“Something powerful broke my connection to her last night” Morning Star gasped.
Silverwind gave her a stern look “Morning Star you didn’t.”
Morning Star cut him off “I only did to help her. Her mind was calling out to me for help.”
Oracle rubbed her chin “Can you explain what happened?”
“Well I called Kaena for help and we combined our powers. Wrangler and I were talking then all of sudden there was a streak of green and all of my connections were lost. Even Kaena and I were separated.”
“It sounds like something or someone doesn’t want you help her wake up. I will have to do some readings and see what I can find. My magic isn’t much anymore but I can give you what I have if it will help.”

The others started talking all at once as to what they should do. Morning Star looked down at the picture and placed a hoof on the pony. In a way the pony frightened her but in another she was drawn to it.

“Wrangler I promise to figure out all of this and bring you back.” she thought to herself.

Meanwhile back in Wrangler’s room the maid had come back to tidy up. Since the sun was setting she closed the windows and the drapes. After she straightened some of the flowers she left closing the door behind her. Once the room was empty the jewelry box began to glow bright green. It filled the room with an eerie glow and Wrangler started tossing in her sleep. Her breath became heavy and quick like she was running from something.
